DivestBU is a coalition of Boston University community members. This includes undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and alumni. Within the coalition there are three main active groups: BU Students for a Just and Stable Future, DivestBU Faculty, and the BU Medical Campus Climate Action Group.

BU Students for a Just and Stable Future (BU SJSF) – This is a student-run climate advocacy group. The group campaigns for fossil fuel divestment and is also involved in local action to resist fossil fuel infrastructure. Their organization is structured with a core team and a general member body. DivestBU Faculty – A group of Boston University Charles River Campus and Medical Campus faculty advocating for fossil fuel divestment. Contact Ed Loechler at loechler@bu.edu to connect with the faculty group.

BU Medical Campus Climate Action Group – A group consisting of students, faculty, and staff from the various schools on the medical campus, focused on tackling the issues surrounding the sustainability and environmental impact of our campus through education and advocacy.
